Our 2024 Siena Catholic College Captains, Jagger Vosloo and Mia Statari proudly accepted their official badges at the Senior Induction Assembly at the beginning of the year. We pride ourselves on our long tradition of excellent student leadership, underpinned by integrity, loyalty and commitment. All our senior leaders and convenors are elected by their peers and ensure that our students’ voices are always heard.
Jagger commenced Siena College in Year 7 and attended Stella Maris in his primary school years. He is a proud Siena community member and embarks on all the college has to offer and exudes the college's spirit. Last year, Jagger played one of the lead roles in the 13 The Musical. Jagger says, "
Since Year 7, I have aspired to make a difference in the school by leading others, either through guiding as captain or through leading one of our college Dominican Pillars. I am excited to participate and collaborate with teachers and students alike to become a positive role model for everyone in the community."
Mia has been part of the Siena community since Semester Two 2020. She says, "I am proud to say I attend Siena Catholic College, a school where the values are symptomatic of those reflected by the church, and where the closeness of the school community is evident in all that we do." Mia's bright, bubbly and inclusive qualities make her a joy to be around and an inspiration to students. Recently, Mia stated, "Being the Captain of my school has been something that I have endeavoured to work towards. I am extremely privileged and delighted to be able to fulfil this duty with my cohort by my side."
Both Jagger and Mia have the esteem and respect of all members of the College community, and we approach the year under their leadership with optimism for what they will bring to the life of our college.
